IDIQ vs. BPA

    Hello,

    I am a CS working on a gov contract and my CO wants to know if we can:

    1. Issue a single award IDIQ off a GWAC IDIQ? 

        - My research tells me we cannot do cost type contracts on a BPA

    2. If we go with awarding a Task Order off of BIC vehicle how do we capture the Large Projects CLIN that we cannot project 5-years out?

    Cost type contract under a GWAC?   It is not global that you cannot do so.   It depends on the GWAC.   By example this quote from  an "Ordering Guide" found here https://www.gsa.gov/technology/technology-purchasing-programs/governmentwide-acquisition-contracts/alliant-2-governmentwide-acquisition-contract-gwac -

    "Cost Reimbursement As defined in FAR Part 16, Type of Contracts, all types of Fixed-Price, Cost-Reimbursement, Incentive, Time-and-Materials (T&M), and Labor-Hour (L-H) are permissible for Orders under the Master Contract. In addition, the Award Term Incentive may be used for Orders under the master contract."
