CPIF Task Order with Options

Hi all,

I support an IDIQ contract for software sustainment. We are looking to award a new CPIF task order with options; each option would be for a pre-set number of software fixes at a negotiated cost. Thus, incentive fee for the task order would be evaluated for each of the "options" that are exercised. The Program Office's idea here is that a task order with options would reduce some of the administrative burden/time of otherwise awarding several smaller CPIF task orders.

Our Contract Specialist has never awarded a task order with options and is not sure that it can be done. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing? If so, would you be able to provide the contract/TO# so that I can pull down from EDA as a "sample"?
