Sharing Proprietary Information

My organization is a prime DoD contractor. Our contract includes DFARS 252.227-7013 & -7014. Say we provided information to the Gov that is not a deliverable and we consider management information (aka, does not fall under the definition of Technical Data under 252.227-7013). We marked the information as Proprietary. Our contract does not specifically address protection of Proprietary Information. Does the Gov have any restrictions on sharing that information marked Proprietary or is our only option to ask to have Proprietary Information addressed in a modification to our contract?
