Task Order Awards - MATOC - Post Award or Not?

Is the Government required to post Task Order awards under MATOC or similar contract types. Seed project awards are typically posted on FedBizopps. Agency has advised that there is no requirement to post Task Order awards.

The requirements for post-award notice of contract actions is in FAR 5.301( a ). The exceptions are in FAR 5.301( b ).
What say ye?
