BPA off of a GSA Schedule

If a BPA is issued off of a GSA Schedule can you can issue a BPA Call for a greater amount than what is stated as the maximum order limit in the GSA Schedule?

Yes, as long as the solicitation on which the BPA was based didn't restrict it in some way. The maximum order limitation (MOL) is really a misnomer now. It used to mean the maximum value of any order than could be placed. Now it simply says to negotiate a better deal before placing an order.

You guys are livin' in the past. GSA replaced the MOL years ago with the MOT. Are there still GSA contracts with MOLs?

I forgot about that change. "Limitation" was changed to "Threshold" and the old language stayed essentially the same. Good catch PWAC!

"While ordering activities are encouraged to seek price reductions for any size Schedule contract order, they are required to seek price reductions if a requirement exceeds a Schedule contract's maximum order threshold. The maximum order under a GSA Schedule contract is the dollar value threshold at which the ordering activity must seek additional price reductions for its requirement"
