Presently the Government is significantly behind in payments on our SB set-aside contract. We presently have five (5) approved invoices, four of which have been submitted for payment to WAWF. The fifth invoice has been approved but not submitted to WAWF. The first invoice dates back to late 2023, and the last (4) were all approved for payment before SEP 2024. All work has been accepted and there is no disagreement. The Government responded in FEB 2024 that it has discovered WAWF system accounting issues, but nothing has been resolved. We have continued to work patiently waiting for payment. In December 2024, we notified the KO that the situation has become untenable and that we and our subcontractors could no longer afford to work without payment. The Government has not responded. Individuals within the Agency have told us to keep applying pressure; however, communications to the KO does not seem to provide any positive movement. Amount due is above $1.2M. Respectfully requesting what additional recourse does a SB concern have in pursuing immediate payment with penalties and interest?

Submit a claim pursuant to the disputes clause in your contract.

Suggests a DoD contract to me. At the same time you are submitting a claim I would suggest contacting at the highest level the appropriate Small Business Program Office (link below) as well as your legislative representative. Doing so is no replacement for the claim route but I would suggest the pressure might help in getting to the matter solved facter than it has been.
