For some context, i am Industry, Small Business. I am responsible for the PP&M side of things and have recently come across multiple contracts that call out both "Type I" and "Type II" shelf life codes in section B. Are the CO's making a mistake? Is there an order of precedence that i am not understanding?

    I. Suggest that you ask the office that issued the document with the conflict in it.

Joel has you on the right track but your example suggests two different National Stock Number Items are being procured and shelf could be different even though they are in the same general catagory as it is up to the agency under MIL-STD-129 to determine shelf life type.

    Hi Joel!,

My apologies, the screenshots are of two different contracts.

The NSN ending in 4910 is on one contract and NSN ending in 1302 on another.

I was attempting to demonstrate how this was occurring on multiple contracts.
