My company is changing how they're naming labor categories and pricing them but we've already got some established ones on our GSA Schedule. We want the GSA Schedule pricing to be in line with our new pricing. This is gonna involve changing names, adding junior, journeyman, and expert to categories that previously only had one level, and obviously pricing them differently. We're not really sure how to begin to approach GSA with this as it seems like much more than an EPA mod or an ADD/Remove mod but a combination of them. Does anyone have any guidance on where to start here (other than reaching out to the Contracting Office which hasn't been very responsive)?

Generally there are two ways to do things like this. One is do your best and submit it to GSA with detailed explanations. Be prepared to answer lots of questions and provide extensive clarifications. The other is get one of the leading consultant companies specializing in GSA Schedule contracting. The best have done similar actions in the past which will make it faster and easier to get approved. But these companies aren’t cheap.
