I know that for DoD components there are specific types of money, such as MILCON and O&M. Are there similar categories for the civilian agencies? What type of funds to civilian agencies use for construction? Thanks!

Civilian agencies have colors of money, too. Take a look at the FASTBook for an idea of the different types of accounts there are.

I thinkt that this is probably related to your Economy Act question yesterday in another thread.

Your agency must have a finance and accounting office which should be able to tell you what type of funds you are providing the DoD agency for use on a construction ID/IQ. The F&A office should also be able to provide the certification that the funds may be used for the purpose you are seeking to use a task order - in the amount of the estimated cost of the task order. I believe that those are responsibilities of finance personnel.

Yep, it's related to my question from yesterday. I figured if I couldn't figure out if they had to abide by our restrictions, I would see if they have a similar restriction of their own.

I had no idea the appropriations were so different for the different agencies. Thank you for the FASTBook link.
