FAR Clause requiring clauses to be flowed-down

Why don't you write one, if that is your intent? I'm not accessible to the FAR online through this Blackberry, but try checking out a FAR or DFARS clause "Insurance on a Government Installation".

I have spent several hours looking for a FAR clause to put into a subcontract which requires certain clauses, especially insurance requirements be flowed down to a lower tiered subcontractor and can not find such a "beast". my gut tells me that it is there. any hints out there? thanks

Several hours?! Where did you look? There are seven insurance clauses in FAR: 52.228-3 thru 52.228-10. The following include flowdown provisions:

52.228-3, Workers' Compensation Insurance (Defense Base Act);

52.228-4, Workers' Compensation and War-Hazard Insurance Overseas; and

52.228-5, Insurance--Work on a Government Installation.
