Restriction on Certain Foreign Purchases

    Folks-

    Does FAR 52.225-13 prohibit our company from ANY foreign purchases? Clause (a) is throwing me off.

    Thanks for your input.

    The clause at FAR 52.223-13 prohibits certain foreign purchases -- not all.

    The clause at FAR 52.223-13 prohibits the contractor's acquiring, for use in the performance of a contract containing the clause, any supplies or services if any proclamation, Executive order, or statute administered by the Office of Foreign Assets Control in the Department of the Treasury, or supplies or services covered by 31 CFR Chapter V. That's all.
