Changing Solicitation to Set-aside while live

    I was wondering if others have experienced a solicitation that has been live for 2 weeks go from unrestricted to set aside.  Can this happen without canceling the solicitation and issuing a new? one?

    Yes, this process is called an "amendment."

    Hopefully, the amendment includes the appropriate clauses for a set aside and deleted inappropriate clauses.  Simply changing from unrestricted to a set aside without adjusting the clauses could create contract administration issues.
