According to an October 2009 memo from Shay Assad, each DoD Component with a Component Acquisition Executive/Senior Procurement Executive (CAE/SPE) was to appoint an Ombudsman for Procurement Integrity. Is there a list somewhere of each such Component and its ombudsman? How do we find the ombudsman for a particular buying activity?

Fara - When I see posts of interest but where I have no hands on knowledge I like to research with my limited research tools. In this case Google. From what I found there is no master list. It appears DoD entities are announcing indiviudally either a specific ombudsman or contact information with no specific name. My best recoomendation is to work up through your specific chain of command to determine your specific contact. Here are some examples of what I found.

I had already tried searching on the websites for the agency I needed, but nothing came up. Also tried a google search with no luck.

The agency I am looking for is the Army Corps of Engineers. If anyone knows who the ombudsman(men) are, it would be appreciated.

Joel may know but it does not look like the USACE has formally announced the position. Have you contacted the Office of the Chief Counsel to ask the question?

Checking, however I recommend checking with one of the Regional PARC offices if you can contact them.

I will email the information I learned to Farat Fasat.
