GSA Schedule 70 renewal and bidding new RFQ

Rookie question ahead - background is my firm is underway with renewing and modifying our GSA Sked 70 expected June/July 2018. Concurrently, we are bidding an LPTA GSA Sked 70 and was curious how we note the impending renewal and what tripwires to protect against.

Why are you curious as to how you "note the impending renewal?" Is there something in the solicitation to which you are responding that requires you to "note the impending renewal?"

There is nothing in the RFQ which requires any notation on pending renewal. However, given our schedule is adding new labor categories/rates which align much more with the cloud and cyber environments I wasn't sure if we need to make any notation and I always operate by don't answer more than what is being asked. Am I correct that once our new schedule is awarded I can bid the new rates and categories so long as they align to the the categories and rates the existing award?
