I have been arguing with folks I work with over putting something that requires First Article Testing on a Government Purchase Card.

    Thoughts?

You need to elaborate. I don't know what you mean and probably others don't either.

    Thoughts?

Doesn't First Article Testing require some kind of written terms and conditions, and aren't written terms and conditions prohibited for purchases with a Government Purchase Card?

What are you buying that is under the micropurchase threshold that needs First Article Testing?

Are you confusing a product sample with a first article?

No I am talking about a manufactured part that requires First Article Testing (FAT) and Approval. I have some folks in our Supply Chain that have purchase manufactured parts that require FAT and approval on their Government Purchase Card (GPC). In my interpretation of FAR Subpart 9.3, FAT approval must be given by a Contracting Officer not a person that is designated as a GPC holder.
