Can anyone recommend a really good pricing manual? I'm kind of old fashioned and like a real book/manual rather than something online.

    Thanks!

What kind of "pricing manual" are you referring to? What kind of information are you seeking?

Assuming that you are asking about manuals for analysis of proposed prices or costs and fees for government contracts, the most obvious recommendation is the DOD Contract Pricing Reference Guides, which may be found at this link:

    https://acc.dau.mil/CommunityBrowser.aspx?i...〈=en-US

An older reference is the DOD Armed Services Pricing Manual, which came in two volumes (Volume 1, 1986; Volume 2, 1987). They may be found at these links:

    http://www.library.dau.mil/ASPM_v1_1986.pdf

    http://www.library.dau.mil/ASPM_v2_1987.pdf

Another useful reference is the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) Contract Audit Manual, DCAAM 7640-1, which may be found at this link:

Vern, I think Tara is inquiring about hard copies of contract pricing reference manuals. I haven't found that via GOOGLE search but I'm on my BB, so the going was slow.

All of the references I provided can be printed out, which would make for hard copies.

Yes, I have access to the Contract Pricing Reference Guides link, but was hoping for something hard copy. I asked the DAU help desk and they said they don't have a PDF option for the Conract Pricing Reference Guides, but hope to have the capability to do so in 1QTR of calendar year 2012. Internet connection at work is not the greatest and IE tends to freeze every now and then on me - which is why I don't like using the links. I may just end up trying to print it out section by section. Thanks.

What "pdf option" do you need? Just save them as pdfs.

Yeah - it worked. Don't know why I didn't think of that before. Thanks.
