Contracting Officer position; how does it work at your agency?

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the 1102 field, and I'm wondering how the CO position works at your agency. Are your COs fully workloaded with their own workload on top of reviewing and signing for several other people? It burns COs out fast. That is what I'm seeing at the agency I work for, and I can't help but wonder if that is normal across the board.
