We issued an RFP under one of our Multiple Award Service Contracts which included an incorrect WD. An amendment was issued to include the correct WD to the KTRs. Revised proposals were received and both the contractors have increased their prices. I've never been in a situation where contractors came back with a changed their prices due to the WD. Do we need to do any type of analysis? Any info is appreciated.

An analysis for the WD's effect on the revised prices? No.
You're talking about a solicitation amendment, right? Before contract award?

@ji20874- Yes sir. I didn't think an analysis was required but I told the CS to document in her write-up. Thank you for responding.

If you’re interested, it should be easy to analyze the impact. Calculate the percent WD labor is of the proposed prices before and after the amendment. If they didn’t change, the new WD didn’t do anything other than increase prices. If there’s a difference, it’s due to other factors. I can see all sorts of adjustments companies might make both up and down in the crazy Covid-19 situation.
