Extending Period of Performance on Task order that has already ended

My D contract does have 52.217-8 (Option to extend services) Is there any legal basis (clause) that allows me to extend  the PoP on a Task/delivery order a month AFTER the PoP has ended? If so, what clause allows me to extend the PoP in that scenario.
