Shop closed due to Propane leak, snow or other faulty equipment.

    I have a question, not sure if it's been answered before or not but I could use some help. I am pretty sure that I read somewhere In the SCA guidelines something about employees should be paid their regular wage If the bussiness is closed due to weather or unforseeable event. We were closed for 5 days back in December whereas we were forced to use our vacation time when it wasn't our fault, but a safety issue that the company couldn't get fixed in a timely manner. We have also been closed due to snow and inclimate weather. Was I correct in what I read that employees should still be paid their wages or was I mistaken ? Thanks for helping out a noob. I greatly appreciate any advice.
