Joint venture

As a small business I am aware of the possible advantages of a Joint Venture. Unfortuanetly I've been unable to research areas such as TIN, Cage Code,DUNNS and most importantly the need for approved acounting systems as they relate to the JV. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
